Arduino Global Partner Conference 2019

Elektronica Voor Jou was invited to participate on behalf of the Netherlands in the first Arduino Global Partner Conference 2019. This conference took place in Como Italy.
It was a fantastic experience to meet and talk extensively with the Arduino team & other partners.
In addition to launching a new product, there has been a lot of talk about the direction the company will take in the near future.

The MKR WAN 1310 is an improved version of the MKR WAN 1300 .
MKR WAN 1310 Hardware:

• Microchip Cortex M0+
• 256KB Flash/ 32K RAM
• ECC508A Crypto Chip
• Murata LoRa Module
• Battery charger
• 2MB Flash memory

Other interesting points of this new board are:

• Lower energy consumption
• Certified Radio Stack
• MKR form factor

Very important for the MKR boards is the security against hacks. For this reason all boards contain a Crypto Chip.

Arduino has been busy making lesson packages for a while now. There is now enough lesson material for students from 11 to 26 years to work with Arduino throughout the entire learning process.

At the moment Arduino is busy translating the packages and environment. Unfortunately Dutch is not yet on the schedule.

Currently, the largest group of Arduino users are Makers. Arduino attaches great importance to this group of users. They will continue to work to make it possible for more and more people to make complex projects simple.

During the conference, Arduino made it clear that they will be working hard in the professional market in the near future.
There are some very interesting things planned, so it is definitely advisable to keep an eye on both their website and ours.
