This is the educational Ruige Robot for Outdoors, a robot for children aged 4 to 12 that can be programmed themselves. The Ruige Robot can be programmed using the buttons on the top of the robot, with the TacTile reader and with a free app. This gives students various options to develop their programming skills. With the app, children can create and send algorithms to the robot themselves. If the child prefers to program on the robot itself, it can send commands to the robot in advance by pressing the buttons on its back. The Ruige Robot therefore offers the same functions as the Blue-Bot and the Bee-Bot, but is specially designed for robust challenges. The Ruige Robot can remember up to 256 steps, allowing students to create and execute complex programs. The robot has three different speed settings, so children can determine how fast the robot moves themselves. In addition, the Ruige Robot has an obstacle sensor that detects obstacles. When an obstacle is detected, the robot first turns backwards 45 degrees before executing the remaining program. The obstacle sensor can be switched on or off as desired. In addition, the Ruige Robot now also features a recording function, which plays back the set program at the time of execution. This provides extra fun and interaction during programming.
