2-Channel Isolated CAN Expansion HAT for Raspberry Pi
Description 2-Channel Isolated CAN Expansion HAT for Raspberry Pi
The 2-Channel Isolated CAN Expansion HAT adds two isolated CAN bus channels to your Raspberry Pi . Thanks to the MCP2515 CAN controller and SN65HVD230 transceiver, this board offers stable and secure communication for industrial and automotive applications. The HAT has built-in power and signal isolation. This ensures a stable voltage and better protection against interference. The TVS diode (Transient Voltage Suppressor) protects against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and voltage spikes. A jumper lets you easily switch between 3.3V and 5V logic levels. This facilitates compatibility with different systems. The module includes a 120Ω terminating resistor, which you can switch on or off with a jumper. In addition, the SPI control pins are implemented. So you can also use the board with other microcontrollers such as STM32 or Arduino.
